It is a term of pride here. I decided to make Skook t-shirts because this term is so widely accepted and liked. I created the first Skook design using the trend of wave type in a retro typeface, smiley faces and vibrant colors. The goal of this design was to create a graphic tee that would appeal to women from Schuylkill County. Because of its popularity, I decided to add more Skook merchandise to my online shop, such as totes, pint glasses, mugs and more.

For the second Skook design I illustrated iced tea, beer and pierogi characters to represent food and beverage items that are made in Schuylkill County. I tried to represent the look of our local products as much as possible without using the company logos or names. I drew inspiration from Schoolhouse Rock for this design and the target market is anyone from Schuylkill County. I did a patriotic theme for the first version of this shirt and have plans to make other versions for different holidays featuring other variations of the products.
